ALLEVIATING CHILD POVERTY

Princen Sammy Foundation is committed to alleviating child poverty, hunger and enhancing the well-being and the quality of life at risk of children and families in the communities, in which we operate, aimed at fighting poverty, hunger, food insecurity and transforming the lives of at-risk children, low income families and seniors in the community. To deliver nutritious food and empower children and  families to make healthier choices, in an effort to “End Hunger and to Achieve Food Security for all”  is one of the top priorities of the Princen Sammy Foundation’s agenda 2030 and beyond. 

WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT, SOCIAL ENTERPRISE PROGRAM POVERTY

When women are empowered, it allows them to have more control over their own careers. Social enterprise and women’s empowerment is a vision which considers the evolution into the mainstream economy.Women financial empowerment, mentorship  and social inclusion, is an integrated approach, which aims to provide flexible and holistic services to support  and enhance the capacities of low-income families to become productive members of the community.Especially single families/mothers experiencing family violence, on the brink of homelessness. By providing them $330 to support their rent default cost to avoid being evicted from their homes. Several employees of the Princen Sammy foundation are fluent in other languages and interpreters are available, which is helpful when working with clients from  minority communities whose official language is neither English nor French. 

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND SUPPORT SERVICES

We have professional Service volunteers with a unique set of skills, knowledge and work experiences to carry out  volunteer programs and services on behalf of the foundation. PS Foundation Service volunteers are very instrumental in  advocacy and awareness campaigns for engaging with the underserved communities, establishing good working relationships with the community and . providing individualized education, learning-centred programs.

ARTS, CULTURE AND FILM FESTIVALS

Princen Sammy Eduful & Herty Foundation is committed to enhancing the quality of life and celebrating our cultural diversity because diversity is our strength. 

This project of film festival production will provide a unique perspective of African Americans cultural identity of diversity is our strength, as well civic and community engagement programs of the Princen Sammy Foundation. Highlighting, creating, engaging and raising public awareness for child poverty and zero hunger for UN  Agenda 2030 sustainable development goals.

EQUALITY, DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION

Equality, diversity and inclusion are an important part of what we do and this  approach is embedded in the foundation’s operational  objectives through the equality, diversity and inclusion strategic framework. Diversity is our strength and is  one of the foundation’s program objectives. Working partnerships with the various community organizations, women’s groups and youth community based organizations to promote and address racial & gender inequalities, environmental injustice, financial injustice, women financial empowerment groups and  support services, especially women and  girls training & education.

HUMANITARIAN RELIEF ASSISTANCE PROGRAM OVERSEAS

Humanitarian relief assistance  programs. Promoting humanitarian relief assistance program to Ghana by sending   medical equipment, supplies and used clothing to support humanitarian & relief efforts in the third world countries during the  humanitarian crisis.
